Green Juice Overload!

What can I say! I LOVE green juices! You should to, they are packed with so many good things for your body! Here is a list of some of my all time favorites! Green is a good color on you beautiful! 

KALE + CUCUMBER TANGO

This is a great green juice for your first Kale experience. It is refreshing with a hint of spicy notes from the ginger, the lemon and apple help to mask the earthyness of the Kale. If you are still afraid to try Kale sub it out for my other fav green lady spinach! But trust me this juice was made to have Kale in it! 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 stalks kale
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • a generous piece of ginger

EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK

This juice literally had everything that was left in my fridge as well as some additions from my counter! The perfect way to get rid of veggies that might be heading out the door is to juice them or make a smoothie. Take some juicing risks! Experimentation is FUN and delicious! This juice was a really REALLY beautiful green! 

INGREDIENTS

  • Collards x4 leaves 
  • Broccoli stalks x2 
  • Cucumbers x2 
  • Mint x 4 sprigs (mint makes everything more interesting, wouldn't you agree)
  • Lemon x1 peeled
  • Ginger x1 thumb,
  • Green apples x2
  • Celery x4 stalks. 

GRAB AND GO GREEN JUICE

Another great thing I love about juicing! You can take it on the go and you can make it in advance! Worried that you won't have enough time before your 7am work arrival to make a delicious juice? Think again! You can make your juice in advance. Juice stays fresh in the fridge for 3 days! Anytime after that it begins to lose it's nutrients and that's no bueno! But have no fear, juicing away the night before or even the day before can help set you up for a wake up call without the stress!  

INGREDIENTS 

This recipe is a big one! Make sure you are ready to share or that you have your jars lined up for the next few days!

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 3 leaves of collards
  • 3 stalks of kale
  • 5 stalks of broccoli
  • 4 cucumbers
  • 5 stalks of celery
  • 1 zucchini (Betcha didn't know zucchini is a natural source of protein)!
  • 1/2 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 lime
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 orange 

THE GREENEST GREEN JUICE

This is for all you lovers of all things earthy! Get ready to put some hair on that chest!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 full bunch of Kale
  • 3 sprigs of cilantro
  • 1 cucumber cucumber
  • 1/2 inch piece of ginger
  • Give it a taste, you may want to add apple, lemon, or lime!
