Simple Salad and Refreshing Homemade Dressing

I've been thinking of all the things that I love about my work, my website and what I see/ feel for the future.

One of the things I'm sure of is recipes are here to stay. I love it when you make them and tag me in your posts. I love it when you don't make them but they inspire you to eat beautiful foods that feel good in your body.

Here's our dinner in progress - simple salad and refreshing homemade dressing. Perfect for all the al fresco dining summer nights ahead. So grab your favorite salad fixin's and i'll show you how to make the vinaigrette!

Orange Ginger Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/8 tsp good quality salt*
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

PREPARATION

  • Add all ingredients into a small bowl. Whisk together and enjoy over your beautiful salad!

*if you're craving salt you could be mineral deficient. Salt has around 75 different trace minerals that are vital to enzymes, proteins and vitamins in your beautiful body. Be sure that you're using a good quality salt like Himalayan or sea salt. If you still have one of those big round blue cardboard containers of table salt I suggest that you take it out of your kitchen and use it in the shower with a little coconut oil as a salt scrub for your feet. Just be careful in the shower, your feet will be slick!
