Just wrapped a talk at a local HS on nutrition and I'm feeling great about being on my path. Oh how I love empowering other people (and being the center of attention doesn't hurt either).
Ask yourself today what would really make me happy to further my personal independence and happiness? Is it emotional, financial, with food, a relationship, etc? What do YOU want? What will make YOU happy?
It's as easy as 1-2-3-4.
1. Figure out what you want. What would make you happy? And do you need support? Ask a friend to help ya, it works every time! Talking to large groups can be a big hairy scary monster. My gf and colleague Jen Moiles was my sidekick and partner on today's talk. Her experience and wisdom inspire me all the time.
2. Release the fear that wells up inside. You know what I'm talking about... all those meanies in your head that say - "it's too big, you're stupid, your dreams don't count, you can't". Release it!
3. When you find the words, write them down, say them out loud, make a list or maybe two.
4. Get out of your own way, hold on for the ride, the universe has a way of seeing it through. Take some time to explore happiness and delight in being you. YOU are wonderful. Yes, you are!
