for your happy little morning
So happy-hearted. And the warmth rang true inside these bones.
Happy Thursday!

Oh the hours I spent fast forwarding and rewinding tapes, combing through music and curating mixes that would adequately sum up the massive amounts of teenage emotion I had bottled up inside. Yes, you remember the Mix Tape, don't you!
Lately I'm so moved by music, like---- teenage moved. Life is in transition. Projects are swirling overhead and everything feels possible. I'm in my stride. I'm inspired. I'm creating. I'm writing. I'm grateful. Music is the thing that gets it, that's already been there and done that. These are among the faves on my playlist at the moment.
We're home from holiday travel and getting back into the groove! I'm working on content for my new website (I'm so excited about it, it's going to be the most beautiful new home). I'm taking turns listening to Wayne Dyer and a new mix that I've made from my Shazam tags appropriately titled 'beautiful'
At the moment I can't get this song out of my head. I just love it, all peppy and fun.
Countdown til 2012! Wheeee!
Love love love!

This song is going on my running mix stat and these gals make me want to get a long board. I should add that the only time I've ever been successful on a skateboard was sitting on one and rolling full speed ahead downhill while screaming with delight. Not sure about actual standing + moving but still so inspired!
Hoping Freedom IS Yours!

We're home and this song is happily playing on repeat in my head. I'm doing the typical unpack, laundry and prep for work tomorrow. Promise to post amazing photos oh so soon. It was the best vacation I think I have ever been on. Truly life changing all because of quality time, the power of the ocean and 1 gigantic mountain hike.
Do you hear the lyrics or just jam to the beat? I'm one of those that usually hears the lyrics first. This song is one of those rare ones that I was drawn to the beat before I heard the words. Mumford and Sons does that to me every time. Love those fellas.
But you know since we're on lyrics now... these are my fave:
And I'll find strength in pain
And I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
...
Cause I need freedom now
And I need to know how
To live my life as it's meant to be
Hope this finds you tapping your foot, nodding your head and singing a happy tune.
