I am loving this online music place... put in the song or artist you want to hear and they will build a whole play list around it! I am listening to a Ray LaMontagne mix right now. When I told it Ray they said "To start things off, we'll play a song that exemplifies the musical style of Ray LaMontagne which feature folk roots, mild rhythmic syncopation, acoustic sonority, use of a string ensemble and a clear focus on recording studio production." And my response was ohhh syncopation is a great word, I must add it to my fave word list! Say it, synco - pation. Doesn't that just make you want to dance around and say that over and over! I will now proceed with my listening. They also let you give a thumbs up or down to the tunes. It's a smart little program, like me. ; )

So I am at work and I just over heard 2 women talking outside the studio (I've got the door open today cause it's a hot one) and one lady was saying in her best news anchor voice that she is married to a wonderful man and has two adorable children. I had to hold back the giggles. I am sitting here thinking that the game show host is going to walk up any minute. Who talks like that in real life, really? I mean her husband may be wonderful and her kids may be adorable but c'mon... I kind of wanted to give her a bow to wrap around them when she gets home (and by the look on the other gals face I think she would have liked that idea too). Oh the things I see and hear working downtown!

K so far on my Pandora mix I've heard James Morrison, David Grey, Ben Folds, Joe Purdy, Regina Spektor and of course Ray LaMontagne. Good mixin!

And since I am feeling a little silly today I thought I'd share this little bit of lacylike trivia with you... Ned kitty LOVES playing with tampons! Yeap, you heard me right - tampons are a major score to the Ned. Once he gets the package open and the little cotton rocket out it's major tail chasing fun. Hysterical!

Happy Sunday! I hope that you are playing with your favorite things today!
