Travel Journal

It's all done!
I am super pleased with it!
My challenge was to create a travel journal for a women I don't know traveling who knows where (but we think maybe it's a cruise)!
It is going to be a gift from my customer to her friend.

This one was so much fun to make. I used this tutorial (omg which I am totally addicted to now! I am making lots more like this for sure! Jamaica is the best!) and this kit from Cocoa Daisy and Ali's design ideas on several pages. Imitation is the best form of flattery, yes! And there is nothing like new ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

word placement here is Ali's idea (making the i dot come after hello)
The binding technique is from the Jamaica tutorial!
I with two piecs of chip board, cut and covered them with my world paper, and added book binding tape from Paper Source.
I gave her lots of tabs, mini pockets and lots of plain and colored papers with cool textures and designs to turn this journal into a mini scrapbook if she so desires! I kept it super simple so that she can write all over the place and it can truly be a journal. : )

the half clock is Ali's idea : ) LOVE IT!

ta da! Happy day!
