Warm Pizza
On the mend!
Hello World!
My goodness that flu is not messing around. I was literally in bed all day, every day since Thursday. I'm not even kidding, it was ugly. I've moved into the ever so delightful symphony of sounds phase. Times like these make me very thankful that Cliff is a paramedic, it takes an awful lot to gross him out.
Thought I'd start the week with a few highlights of what else has been happening lately!
The sun has finally come out!

Rest here.

An old lamp at Cliff's folks house. I'm always amazed at little pieces of furniture that fade into the background of life...things we have for years that are really nothing special. This just caught my eye for some reason on this day. I am in awe of how sturdy and substantial things used to be made. This is definately a lamp that says- hey I WILL LIGHT UP YOUR WORLD much unlike some of the lamps we'd run out and buy at Target today.
In a burger joint bathroom of all places. LOVED. IT. Yeap I almost always have my camera... even in the bathroom. In all fairness it was in my purse (ok really big purse bag thingie).
Meet Rex...
p.s. if you are Bay Area Local we are offering 2 free days of yoga on the 1st and 2nd at Breathe! C'mon down!
Blinded by the Light
So we're not sure what's going on here but when we get into bed at night Ned sits under the lamp shade until we turn the light off. Cliff thinks he likes the warmth from the bulb. I'm pretty sure he's accessing the portal to talk to dead people. At any rate he sits super still and doesn't seem to like it when we bother him with picture taking. Look at that sweet little face... it's like we totally interrupted his shining (ha) moment.
Yeap, he's special.
Here's to washing your kitty.
Aw Ned.
I believe in
Myself.
Possibility.
Taking breaks. Like this one. To write and say hello to you guys! Hello!
The wind & throwing caution to it.
My Love.
Our magic.
Twirling. I don't twirl enough or do enough cart wheels for that matter. Hold please while I cart wheel in my living room. Better now. ha!
Dreaming.
Growth spurts, though painful at times (going through one of those right now).
Being near people who inspire me.
Loving my body as it is today. I just picked out my boudoir pictures. I'm still so grateful for that experience. It remains my Rx for all women. Seriously, do it.
Sitting outside.
Living some place just because you love the weather.
Flowers, fresh ones.
And
Ned. Yes you can believe in a cat.
He's tired, he'd prefer to be in bed (I can see it in his little squinty eyes) but he's sitting faithfully in my lap as always while I burn the midnight oil preparing for a big nutrition talk I've got coming up on Wednesday at a local high school. It's going to be awesome. There will be hundreds of students and I betcha I get through to a few of em. Did I mention it's going to be awesome.
Dragging myself and the Ned to bed. Ni-nite, sleep tight and have a marvelous Tuesday!
What are you believing in today?
